i’m sure you’ve been told this, but you need to be not only a wife, stay-at-home mom, vocalist, worship leader(semi-retired); but also a writer. I love reading your posts, friend. As a mommy, i find them pertinent, poignant, perfect, and pfunny (silent “p”)…

Hey Joni! I found you through Scott Hodge’s blog. I absolutely LOVE what I am reading here. I was a stay at home then I was a working mom. Now I am a work from home mom which I absolutely enjoy. My son, David, is five years old. I am looking forward to connecting with you and reading your thoughts on being a wife and mom.

Hi Joni. Just responding to your comment post on my site. Yeah its a bit of a late April Fools Joke, but I thought it was pretty funny. Sorry for making you go through all that trouble of posting and taking it back down again. Yea I’m a single guy and I always chuckle to myself when I see those eHarmony.com or Match.com commercials on TV. I thought this was a great added touch. They have a bunch of funny articles on there website. Enjoy! Maybe you can get someone too! Oh I see you follow Scott Hodge’s blog….he’s a awesome guy from what I can observe. sometimes after I post a blog it’s so silent you can hear a pin drop….then I start second guessing myself…but then I think to myself….oh well, I thought it was good, so I pick myself up, dust myself off, and away I go. Thanks for the comments on my blog! I just recently found yours, and have really enjoyed reading it. I have a 9-year-old girl and a 4 -year-old boy, with frequent visits by our 4-year-old neighbor girl (we have an amazing childcare swap thing going with our neighbors). I love what you write about what your kids say. So much fun.
One question: exactly what is a ’semi-retired worship leader’? And how do I get to be one?

There was this guy see.
He wasn’t very bright and he reached his adult life without ever having learned “the facts”.
Somehow, it gets to be his wedding day.
While he is walking down the isle, his father tugs his sleeve and says,
“Son, when you get to the hotel room…Call me”
Hours later he gets to the hotel room with his beautiful blushing bride and he calls his father,
“Dad, we are the hotel, what do I do?”
“O.K. Son, listen up, take off your clothes and get in the bed, then she should take off her clothes and get in the bed, if not help her. Then either way, ah, call me”
A few moments later…
“Dad we took off our clothes and we are in the bed, what do I do?”
O.K. Son, listen up. Move real close to her and she should move real close to you, and then… Ah, call me.”
A few moments later…
“DAD! WE TOOK OFF OUR CLOTHES, GOT IN THE BED AND MOVED REAL CLOSE, WHAT DO I DO???”
“O.K. Son, Listen up, this is the most important part. Stick the long part of your body into the place where she goes to the bathroom.”
A few moments later…
“Dad, I’ve got my foot in the toilet, what do I do?”

Thanks for welcoming us to the Orchard over on my blog. We can’t wait to get there. I’m so jealous….Larry is getting to come out next week and spend some time with all of you.
I, also, can’t wait to buy ear muffs, snow/winter boots, actual coats, and all the other fun real winter stuff. In Texas, hoodies pretty well get us through the winter.

Yesterday I read that there is a cure for diabetes on http://www.healthcaredaily.org
Is this way of curing diabetes mentioned actually true, If so I should have found out earlier! The website http://www.healthcaredaily.org looks legit
Has anyone tried beating diabetes this way?
