Home maintenance tip…

If you smell something burning and you’re not cooking, don’t panic. Before you try to put your important legal papers in the home fireproof safe that’s still in the box since purchased in the winter, check to see if the last child to sit in the time out seat beneath the thermostat has set it on “Heat” and turned it up to 85°. Once the air conditioner has been reset, the burning smell will quickly leave.

  4. Like I said, “That boy ain’t right!” 😉

Also, it could be that a wooden spoon has fallen down into your dishwasher on the heating coil and is burning–that happened to us last week. The smell lingered for a long time–about made me sick–well doesn’t take much nowadays!
